The most suitable method of packing for any painting is included in the painting price listed. The recommended method is based on our expertise for safe and fast artwork delivery. Your personal preferences for the delivery are the subject for individual discussion. If you are interested in more than one painting, the overall price may be change and may be subject to further negotiation.

In case of bank transfer you get an invoice with all the billing details: the final sum (painting + delivery cost) the account number to which to transfer money.

In case of card payment, you will receive an invoice /painting-delivery cost) as well as a link with code that will direct you to a payment terminal, where you will proceed as advised.

The shipment won't start until the money has arrived onto our bank account. On average the transfer takes 3-7 working days. After confirming your purchase you will receive a pre-invoice in PDF form, with all the details for internet banking transaction. It is important that you do not pay before you receive the pre-invoice. The payment is to be done in EUR. We inform you as soon as your payment is received and we ship your painting immediately after that. Please retain a copy of the transaction at an easily accessible place. Your confirmation may be necessary in case the company authorizing the payment would like to contact you for receiving a confirmation of the transaction authenticity. It also may be necessary for all cases of refund, order cancellation etc.

All paintings will be packed thoroughly before being sent to you. It is not possible to roll an encaustic painting. Because of this the painting together with the frame, or paintings on wooden boards are usually protected with bubble wrap, cardboard or chipboard. We do everything to make sure, that the painting is protected safely enough for transport.

You are always given a choice of shipping services to be entrusted with the task of delivering your painting.Shipping charges will be given before you commit to buy anything. Goods will normally be dispatched from my studio within 10-14 working days.

Self-pick up

If you are visiting Bratislava in Slovakia, or Prague in Czech Republic, you can always pick your artwork yourself. By the time of your arrival, it will be packed. This is the safest way to get your painting. This way you can be sure that nothing happens to your painting. The bonus is, that we can meet personally: you can my studio and have a nice chat over a cup of tea.

Parcel delivery companies: Federal Express (FedEx), DHL or UPS

Using the services of these parcel delivery companies is a fast and reliable way to get your shipment. We always recommend to insure every shipment.
The average time of delivery is around 2-5 days in EU and 5-8 days for overseas shipments. All services give you an opportunity to track your shipment via the Internet.Your goods will be delivered to the address you gave on your order. You must be at home to accept delivery of your order, which is normally between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday.
I will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.After two failed delivery attempts (or if you are not at home for an agreed delivery) the goods may be returned to my studio where I reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge. If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, I reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery. Please check the goods on delivery – any goods found to be damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or to me within a reasonable time.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let me know at once, so that I can act accordingly.

As soon as we receive your email, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how to return your order. Returns must be made within 14 workdays of delivery. We require items to be returned in good condition, in the full original packaging.
Once we receive your returned order, within 14 days we will replace or refund as required.

Please note: •unfortunately we cannot refund shipping costs for any orders, unless the product is faulty or damaged.

Like any piece of original art, encaustics should not be displayed in direct sunlight or subjected to extreme temperatures

Just gently buff the surface of the painting using the palm of your hand or with a clean cotton cloth once every couple of months. Note that during the first year the encaustic painting might gain the appearance of looking a bit cloudy. This is a normal part of the curing process of this organic medium. As time passes your art will become more transparent and the translucency between the wax layers will continue to increase. Once fully cured your encaustic art will be completely archival and will harden to a beautiful resin like finish.

To clean the structured surface as well as the encaustic sculptures, use a duster or light brush, to remove any impurities and dust particles with gentle strokes.

To clean the back side of the wooden board using a vacuum cleaner is not advised, instead use only a damp cloth.

Vacuum cleaner is not advised as it may damage the structure of the painting.

Only in that case when the distance between the artwork and the fireplace is at least 3-5 m the radiator 2m.

Temperature change should not affect the painting's structure as such. In case of cold, leave the painting to warm up naturally, without touching it. In case of hot, again leave the painting without touching to cool down. The shape and structures will remain intact.

Should it happen that the painting or sculpture was damaged during transport or some damage happened after receiving and placing the painting or sculpture on the desired space, do not despair. My services do not end with sale. If there is a problem with the goods, please notify me by email, or in writing, providing details of the problem. It's helpful if you can provide me with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. I will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

Also prepare yourself for consultation through video chat and cooperation. If it is a small damage it can be repaired on the spot. If the damage is bigger, well then we discuss all the possible options, starting from me visiting you, to the possibility of transporting the painting back to my workplace, where I make my best to fully restore the painting. If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without as soon as possible and without charge.

Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at my studio and checked. The cost of returning goods to me is your responsibility, however on inspection I will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be damaged. If the goods are not damaged, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.

There is the 2 year guarantee period. But my services do not end by selling you the painting. You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please email or write to me, to ensure the written form of cancellation. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help me to improve the service I offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to me at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

I guarantee to pack my paintings in the best possible way, to ensure the safest package for your painting, to help sort out any minor and major problems risen from a possible damage.

You will get an authenticity certificate, that ensures you are in possession of a real authentic piece of art from the artist herself.

I will be very happy to assist you in choosing the right painting for you, your home or office space. You can send me a photo taken of the space in question and I will arrange a design in Photoshop.

I will be delighted to see your painting hanging on the desired spot. I usually ask customers to send me a photo or video (or even live chat video) of how the painting looks in its final place, if I am not able to see it myself. So get your camera ready :)

I always ask customers to give their approval of using their photos as a reference on my website. The privacy policy is repected by all means.
